According to Napoleon Cat, the number of Facebook users is increasing day by day in the country. The number of Facebook users was 35.9 million in January of the outgoing year, it increased to 44.3 million in December.
However, it is noteworthy that the use of LinkedIn is increasing in the country among the most widespread use of Facebook. LinkedIn is the largest professional community in the world.
According to the survey, currently, 69 percent of employers in the corporate world use LinkedIn to verify the eligibility of job seekers. The reason, they said, is that there is no comparison to LinkedIn to know about the professional skills of an employee. That’s why more than 500 million people worldwide are using LinkedIn to streamline their career.
The popularity of LinkedIn is also growing very fast in Bangladesh. Here it is possible to quickly and effectively build a professional network by opening a profile. As of December last year, the number of LinkedIn users in the country was 36 lakh 70 thousand, 32 lakh 33 thousand a year ago.
Besides, thousands of small entrepreneurs are marketing products or services using Facebook pages. Analysts think this change is also positive.
