Khulna Division is the third largest city in Bangladesh after Dhaka and Chittagong. The Khulna is located on the banks of the Rupsha and Bhairab rivers in southwestern Bangladesh. Khulna is one of the oldest river ports in Bangladesh. The Khulna division is also called the land of white gold.

Sandesh, a sort of sweetmeat
Khulna is also famous all over Bangladesh for its Sandesh. Among the different types of Sandesh, Nalen molasses Sandesh and curdled milk Sandesh are more famous. The scent is very beautiful and the taste is incomparable.
