Tutors do not need to teach vowels to young children. You don’t even have to go to school. At home, the artificial intelligence robot Edubot will read rhymes or stories from children’s nursery to fifth grade books.
According to Edubot’s inventors, the robot contains data on all books from nursery to fifth grade. If asked, Edubot will tell rhyme-story in both Bengali and English. The inventors say the robot will be marketed commercially this year.
This robot will not only teach courtesy or self-identity, but also help to read the children. Not just Bengali, Edubot is equally proficient in English. Also the robot can answers mathematical questions accurately. This is not the end of fascination, the robot can teach your child dance too.
Ahsanul Akib, a student of Bangladesh University of Business Technology-BUBT, the inventor of this special robot, said that API technology has been connected with artificial intelligence in Edubot. Which delivers voice comments in the form of text to Edubot. Besides, if the robot don’t know any information, it will search on Google. Convert text from Google to voice and tell immediately.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak said the highest priority would be given to increase the capacity of robotics keeping in mind the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The young inventor also said that besides Edubat, 4 commercial robots have been ordered for the restaurant.
