Parks in Dhaka
Rose Garden/ Rashid Manzil
Address – 13 No K A Das Lane under Sutrapur police station area.
Time Schedule: Every day from 9 am to 6 pm. There are no weekly closures at the Rose Garden. However, visitors are not allowed to enter during the shooting.
Osmani Uddan
Address — Gulistan in Dhaka, Opposite the Dhaka City Corporation (Nagar Bhaban).
Time Schedule: In summer it is from 5.00 am to 9.00 pm and in winter it is from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm.
Boldha Garden
Address -: In Wari of old Dhaka
Time Schedule: Every day from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon and from 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm.
Wonder Land
Address -Swamibagh. Near Saidabad bus stand on Dhaka-Chittagong highway.
Time Schedule: Every day from 10.00 am to 8.30 pm.
National Zoo
Address – Mirpur. You have to go straight to Zoo Road from Sony Cinema Hall Chattar in Mirpur-1.
Time Schedule: 9am to 6pm in summer and 8am to 5pm in winter. Weekly closed every Sunday.
Nandan Park
Address – Savar. On the side of Savar-Chandra highway.
Time Schedule: Every day from 10 am to 6 pm. Fridays and all closing days from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm.
Bahadur Shah Park
Address – In old Dhaka. In front of Jagannath University.
Time Schedule: Every day from 5.00 am to 9.00 am. From 3.00 pm to 10.30 pm.
Dhanmondi Lake
Address – Spread across Dhanmondi area (about 16%).
Time Schedule: Boat trips every day from 10 am to 9 pm. Also every day is always open to everyone.
National Monument
Address – Located in Nabinagar, Savar.
Time Schedule: Every day from 9 am to 6 pm.
Fantasy Kingdom
Address – Jamgarh, Ashulia. Next to Dhaka-Ashulia Highway.
Time Schedule: Every day from 11 am to 9 pm and on public holidays from 10 am to 10 pm.
Sohrawardi Uddan
Address – Located across Ramna, Shahbag and University areas of Dhaka.
Time Schedule: Every day from 6 am to 10 pm.
Lalbagh Fort
Address – In Lalbagh of old Dhaka.
Time Schedule: Break from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm and from 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm. Friday breaks from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm and from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. All public holidays, including Sundays, are full day off. Monday closed for half a day.
National Museum of Science and Technology
Address – Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
Time Schedule: Every Saturday to Wednesday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. The museum is closed on Thursdays, Fridays and all public holidays.
Bangladesh National Museum
Address – On the south side of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Shahbag area.
Time Schedule: 10.30am to 5.30pm and Fridays from 3.00pm to 8.00pm.
Panam Nagar
Address – North of Sonargaon Folk and Crafts Museum.
Time Schedule: Always open to everyone.
Lalkuti/ North Brook Hall
Address – 100 yards from Banglabazar on the banks of the Buriganga in Farashganj mahalla No. 1 Farashganj, Dhaka.
Time Schedule: Only open to ceremonies and other functions. Besides, this premises is open every day from morning till night. The library and gymnasium are open every day.
Boro Katra
Address – It is located at Bara Katara, 16 south of Chawkbazar police station in Dhaka.
Time Schedule: Every day from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Ahsan Manjil
Address – Ahsan Manzil is located in present day Islampur on the banks of river Buriganga in old Dhaka.
Time Schedule: 10.30am to 5.30pm and Fridays from 3.00pm to 6.30pm. Closed on Thursdays and public holidays.
Zinzira Palace
Address – Dhaka city is located a few hundred yards away on the other side of the river Buriganga. Jinjira on the other side of the Buriganga along the Bara Katra Palace adjacent to Soarighat.
